FIELDS OF ACTIVITY

Civil Engineering: Consultancy & Advisory Services for the planning, designing, contract management, and execution of projects of all disciplines of Railways both at national and international business concerns. It also operates as General Consultant.
1. STUDY  & PLAN Feasibility and pre-feasibility studies of new Railway lines, improvement/up-gradation of existing railway lines, and modification/ improvement of existing bridges to achieve the higher train speeds of 140, 160 & 200 Kmh and to accommodate higher axle loads. Preliminary and tender stage design of new Rail/Road projects, track, bridge, buildings, tunnels, Signalling & telecommunication assessment of requirement of rolling stock, spare parts, and their operation & maintenance setups.
2. MAINTENANCE METHODS Preparation and/or revision of procedure/maintenance Manuals relating to Railway disciplines viz. Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Signal and Telecom, Operation, Commercial, and management & development of the human resource.
3. SURVEY & INVESTIGATION Site reconnaissance, aerial, detailed topographical, hydrological, and allied surveys, traffic surveys, Market Analysis, Environmental Impact studies. Geo-tech investigation and Material testing.
4. DETAILED DESIGN Architectural & Structural design of Pre-Stressed Concrete, RCC, Steel  Structure of buildings, bridges, and roads. Design of track, signaling, and telecommunication System and allied works, Design of Workshops & other maintenance facilities.
5. GENERAL SERVICES Preparation of detailed technical specifications, Bill of Quantities (BOQ), tender documents, project management.
